Citation
Only Headquarters, Department of the Army and Department of Defense leadership can citation accouterments to Army personnel. Army has multiple commands that deal with awarding users. The Sergeant Major of the Army has the same permission as the Director of Army Staff, but can only award enlisted personnel.
Command
All citations are awarded through the following command:
/citation [UNIT] [CITATIONS] [REASON]
There are three components to the command:
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| UNIT | The group you are awarding the citation to. |
| CITATIONS | The citation you are awarding. |
| REASON | A description of why the user is receiving the citation. |
Since there are new commands and divisions that are being added and removed, the bot will not update the UNIT list automatically. Please refer to the Bot Manager to add or remove any new divisions or commands.
Only Army Headquarters and Department of Defense personnel, excluding Army Engineers and Joint Foreign Relations, can award citations. Citations are awarded in batches, meaning everyone within the command (this excludes Army HQ, DOD, and command and corps HQ if the group is a division) will receive the citation.
